Canadian eventer and renowned horseman Tik Maynard (CAN) captured the hearts of fans this past March with an amazing display of horsemanship. Maynard will return as a Championship Competitor to defend his title at Road to the Horse 2025, at the Kentucky Horse Park on March 27-30, 2025.
Joining Tik Maynard, will be international show jump rider and two-time Road to the Horse World Champion Vicki Wilson (NZ). Wilson has not stepped into the Road to the Horse round pen in five years, but the esteemed horsewoman will return to compete as a Championship Competitor.
Wilson and Maynard will be joined by another soon-to-be-announced Championship Competitor. The third championship competitor will be announced on Wednesday August 21 at 10:00am CST. As always, Roadies will be the first to know, on Tuesday August 20.
These three championship competitors will be joined by the Wild Card Challenge Champion, allowing a total of four colt starters to compete for horsemanship’s most prominent title at Road to the Horse 2025.
