Road to the Horse 2025 is thrilled to welcome Nick Dowers as a guest clinician. Nick will conduct a clinic on Thursday, March 27, and will be available throughout the event at his booth on the concourse, located next to Platinum Performance.
Nick is a master colt starter, capturing Road to the Horse World Championship of Colt Starting titles in 2016 and 2019. Nick embodies the ideals of Western heritage, and he has dedicated his life and career to sharpening his horsemanship skills. He believes the best way to teach a horse is by harnessing its mind and creating a positive relationship. As a National Reined Cow Horse Association Open Snaffle Bit Futurity Champion, his philosophy focuses on blending natural horsemanship and performance horse training techniques to develop a balanced, confident athlete.
Strong family values and a sincere love for horses have earned Dowers the respect of his fellow horsemen. The Dyer, Nevada, native has trained under the likes of Bryan Neubert, Joe Wolter, Bill Van Norman, Andrea Fappani and Annie Reynolds, and his lifetime earnings exceed $1.5 Million.
