RTTH 2025 Guest Clinicians Nick Dowers, Dan James and Ken McNabb

Road to the Horse 2025 Road to the Horse 2025 is proud to welcome guest clinicians Nick Dowers, Dan James and Ken McNabb. These talented horsemen will each host horsemanship clinics during the World Championship of Colt Starting, March 27–30, at the Kentucky Horse Park.

Nick Dowers: A 2x Road to the Horse World Champion and NRCHA Open Snaffle Bit Futurity Champion, Nick is renowned for blending natural horsemanship with performance training to develop balanced, confident equine athletes. A native of Dyer, Nevada, with over $1.5 million in lifetime earnings, Nick has trained under some of the most respected horsemen and is admired for his family values and deep passion for horses.

Dan James: Australian horseman Dan James has captivated fans since his Road to the Horse debut in 2012. Raised on a cattle farm in Queensland, James started training horses in his teens, fueling a lifelong passion for understanding their behavior. Now based in Midway, Kentucky, at the Australian Equine Performance Center, he continues to inspire horse lovers alongside his wife, Elizabeth, and their children, Isabella and Jesse.

Ken McNabb: A lifelong cowboy with strong family values, Ken is passionate about horsemanship and ranching. He began studying horses in junior high and, in 2005, launched his TV show, Discovering the Horseman Within, which aired on RFD-TV and YouTube. In 2009, Ken partnered with Diamond Land & Livestock to host the first Diamond-McNabb Ranch Horse Sale, now in its 17th year. A 2013 Telly Award winner, Ken has spent 28 years traveling the U.S., teaching horsemanship clinics and events.
