A Colt of Many Colors

The Brushstrokes: Horsemanship as Art

After years of conversations with past competitors about colt starting, one theme kept surfacing: comparing a colt to a blank canvas. Inspired by this idea, we made it the heart of this year’s event.

For Road to the Horse 2025, our colorful horse logo was lovingly hand-painted by crew members of the Petrin Family, bringing this vision to life in a truly special way.

Thanks to our friends at Breyer, Road to the Horse fans will have the opportunity to purchase a vibrant Breyer horse at the Road to the Horse booth at the main entrance of the Alltech Arena. To celebrate the event, a limited quantity of the colorful stallion, Jewels, will be available for purchase. Fans can also use special paint markers to collect celebrity signatures on their colorful horse, making it the perfect keepsake for Road to the Horse 2025.

The Breyer Horse Jewels by Chris Hess

The iconic Fighting Stallion, Jewels, was sculpted by artist Chris Hess, and was introduced to the Breyer lineup in 1961. Over the years, the Fighting Stallion has donned numerous realistic patterns as well as a few decorator colors, but this is his first time appearing with a rainbow coat.

Painted Ponies: A Road to the Horse 2025 Breyer Fan Experience

Fans at Road to the Horse 2025 can unleash their creativity by painting their own pony at the Breyer booth in the Vendor Hall. Thanks to Breyer, attendees will have the chance to customize their own Stablemate horse, embracing the artistic theme of this year’s event.
