The Legacy Behind the Cowtown Coliseum

Grand Opening, 1908. The Cowtown Coliseum broke ground in 1907 and was completed in 1908, at a cost of $250,000. Looking at the size of the Coliseum in person, you will see the massive architectural undertaking that occurred in that short a time frame. It is one of the most historic buildings in Fort Worth. Presidents, kings, queens, legendary comedians, rock n roll stars, and the best amateur and professional cowboys & cowgirls have passed through our doors.
