Become a Road to the Horse Volunteer (Roadie)!

Why join "the best team on earth" and become a Road to the Horse Roadie? Because it's like saddling up with all your favorite horsemen and embarking on the journey of a lifetime! Volunteer your time and skills to help make Road to the Horse "the horsemanship event of the world!"

The number of volunteer opportunities are limited, so be sure you are one of the first to apply. We feel really lucky to have the support of so many people, but it does mean our team fills up very fast. Sign up as soon as possible after our application launches, but please only confirm a shift you can fully commit to.

We aren't able to offer a refund to those who purchased tickets and subsequently volunteer - But don't forget your friends! Share the Road to the Horse experience with them by bringing them along.

    I indicate my acknowledgement of being a volunteer for Ride the Remuda Productions. It also confirms my understanding that my volunteer position is not guaranteed, nor if granted, guaranteed for any length of time and that Ride the Remuda Productions and Road to the Horse may deny or end my volunteer opportunity at any time, for any reason, with or without prior notice. By submitting the Volunteer Registration Form, I agree to bear full responsibility and full liability for any and all damage or injury, which might result from volunteering at  Road to the Horse. I also release and agree to hold harmless and indemnify the staff and directors of Road to the Horse, Ride the Remuda Productions, event sponsors and their insurance carriers from any and all claims, actions or damages without any limitation whatsoever, whether consisting of personal injury, property damage that results in any way from any act of the volunteer while attending or volunteering at Road to the Horse


Everyone who applies to be a RTTH Roadie must meet the following requirements:

Be 18 years of age or older. 16 and 17 year olds may volunteer, if accompanied by and volunteering with adult supervision and with a signed parent or guardian consent form.

Attend your shift. RTTH Roadies play a critical role at our events. If you don't show up, it affects the event.

Flexibility for which role(s) you will be in.

You may be the first face thousands see. You may be the person helping them find their seats or answer questions about Road to the Horse. Whatever you do as a Roadie, you'll be at the heart of it all, creating the horsemanship experience of a lifetime for everyone (including yourself).

Tickets- Provide the first welcome to the thousands of fans, greet them with a smile and hear their stories!

Selling Programs- Share the history and facts of Road to the Horse with fellow horse lovers.

Office Assitance- Work closely with Road to the Horse staff. Help organize and provide customer service.

Parking- Meet spectators as they enter teh Kentucky Horse Park and help direct traffic.

Arena set up- A fast paced, work out! Help set up and tear down WW Manufacturing round pens for the most exciting horsemanship event on earth! Then continue to set up teh famous Road to the Horse Obstacle Challenge!

Our Volunteers need to be friendly, outgoing and of course share the love of horses. We start early - and work late and have fun! We need people who are up for the challenge, will follow through on their commitment, like working with others, and are willing to jump right in.

Road to the Horse highly values the volunteers, you step up and help create the finest horsemanship event in the world. Join our team and expand your horsemanship knowledge, meet new and interesting people and become a part of Road to the Horse!
